Tim Streng is an accomplished golf instructor and competitive player with over a decade of experience in coaching and professional golf. Since 2014, he has served as Lead Golf Instructor at the Wildcat Golf Academy and volunteered as an assistant coach for Northwestern University’s Men’s Golf Team (2014–2024).
Tim’s professional experience also includes roles as Assistant Golf Professional at Kemper Lakes Golf Club and Old Marsh Golf Club, where he organized junior camps and honed his teaching expertise. He has trained under some of the top instructors in the game, including Chuck Cook, Martin Hall, Andy Plummer, Mike Bennett, Kevin Smeltz, and Jerry Tucker.
A decorated player, Tim won the 2025 IPGA Players Championship, set a course record of 61 at Beverly Country Club in 2023, and earned the 2015 IPGA Assistant’s Champion title. He has competed in PGA Tour Qualifying School, multiple mini tours, and state-level championships.
Tim’s collegiate career at Western Illinois University was highlighted by Mid-Continent All-Conference honors all four years and recognition by the Golf Coaches Association of America on the Ping All-American Honorable Mention Team.
