Lisa Jones is the Director of Operations

Lisa Jones is the Director of Operations for the Wildcat Golf Academy. Lisa brings more than 20 years of experience in sports, communications, and nonprofit leadership, with a career built around creating meaningful experiences for athletes and their families.

Lisa has served as the Director of Operations for the Wildcat Golf Academy since its inception in 2011. She oversees everything from daily logistics to long-term planning. Lisa works closely with coaches, players, and parents to create a positive, organized, and high-level training environment for junior golfers. From managing programming and staff to running the Academy’s website, social media, and communications, she plays a central role in shaping the overall experience.

At the same time, Lisa spent five years as Director of Operations for Amonte Sports, a national girls’ lacrosse training organization founded by Hall of Fame coach Kelly Amonte Hiller. There, she helped bring camps and clinics to life across the country—coordinating with schools and universities, organizing travel and staffing, and building relationships with athletes and their families.

Earlier in her career, Lisa was the Director of Public Relations at La Rabida Children’s Hospital, the Associate Director of Communication for the Big Ten Conference and the Assistant Sports Information Director for Northwestern University.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.
