- Received his Level 3 Titleist Performance Institute Medical Professional Certification and has helped co-designed the strength and conditioning program for the Northwestern University Men and Women’s Golf Teams with Cory Puyear
- Received a Masters of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in 1999
- Employed with Lutheran General Hospital and Advocate Fitness as an Exercise Specialist
- Was the Manager of Corporate Fitness for Northern Trust Bank from 1992-96
- Served as a strength and conditioning coach for the Northwestern University Wildcat Football program in 1996
- Completed a weight room internship at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO, where he was responsible for designing strength and conditioning programs for athletes competing in the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain
- Earned his certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning
